Review-
This was a very good story! Most stories of displaced children lack the imagination that this story contains. Being a High School Junior is hard enough, add foster care & other realities and you have a really good storyline. The characters are dark and definitely different. This storyline has a lot of thought provoking elements tied together to form a dark alternate world. The Author really knows how to pull you in and keep the story engaging. I flew right through this one. The main character is an interesting young lady. I felt a certain connection with her adventurous personality. She is shy on the surface but likable & intriguing none the less. Her tight-nit group of friends are drawn to her and very protective. All in all I really liked this fantasy tale. It's unique storyline sets it apart from the others. Hope you like it too!
