Review: Ruined by Paula Morris

Summary-
A gripping YA supernatural novel set in New Orleans: TWILIGHT with a ghostly twist.
Rebecca couldn't feel more out of place in New Orleans, where she comes to spend the year while her dad is traveling. She's staying in a creepy old house with her Aunt Claudia, who reads Tarot cards for a living. And at the snooty prep school, a pack of filthy-rich girls treat Rebecca like she's invisible. Only gorgeous, unavailable Anton Grey seems to give Rebecca the time of day, but she wonders if he's got a hidden agenda. Then one night, in Lafayette Cemetery, Rebecca makes a friend. Sweet, mysterious Lisette is eager to talk to Rebecca, and to show her the nooks and crannies of the city.

Review-
Steep in mystery, murder, ghosts and deep dark family secrets, Ruined is a Fantastic book. I loved the atmosphere of the New Orleans settings. You feel as if you are really in that old Historical city. I could actually feel the presence of the Lafayette Cemetery. The storyline is so full and twisting you hardly get your bearings before you are off in a new direction. The main character is a delight to follow through all her trials. She is way braver than I would have been in her situation. Guess that just runs in her Old-line Family blood. Fortunately, she rights the wrongs of her ancestors. I can not wait to read the sequel to this thrilling story !! I Love the way this Author tells a tale. She is one of my new Favorites to read.
